I got a little crafty today & made these -

I upgraded my Austar to get the movie channels so have been in front of the box all afternoon. My little sister arrived back safe and sound from Fiji & that is all the news I have, bye.
Today started out normally enough
Bacon & egg sandwich for breakfast

I then had a shower and had a flood in the ensuit. The water started coming up from the floor drain. Luckily it didn't make it to the carpet, I called a plumber and they poked around and said the pipe is blocked or broken underneath the concrete driveway? Thankfully I have 2 other bathrooms I can use until it is fixed.
I continued my day sorting and unpacking
I also had a lot of visitors. Sarah, Jon & the kids, Ruthie came to see her old house & Della, Isaac & Tom. I had been waiting to take some photo's of kids playing in the leaves.

Now I am off to bed - goodnight.

I have a very quiet weekend planned. A few of the girls are around so we might go out to dinner tomorrow night.
Sarah asked me today to be Sophie's Godmother so that was lovely, I love SoSo.
Not much else to report, leave me a comment my Blog has been very lonely!
P.S I was sad to hear today of Michaal Jackson passing away, a sad end to a life of someone once so talented.
I have been having major computer problems and don't have any "space" to down load photos so I only have a few of the new pad.
This is the view from under my carport, I love that big tree. The gardener ( yes included in the rent, that NAB pays is a Gardener ) came today so all the leaves are gone. Would have been great for photos if I had some kids!
This is taken from the dining room back into the kitchen. It is really light and still smells new.
I got Austar re-connected today and got mystar so I can record shows, I will have a lot of shows to catch up on. Bye for now.

We had a farewell for Jono & played up, even on a school night
I had an interview with Prime news today to talk about our ladies day at the Rugby with the boys playing in pink socks fundraising for The Glenn McGrath Foundation & tonight hung out with the man himself
to Mazza's unit.
It may be a cold noisy joint but it has been home for almost the past 2 years. It has seen a fair few after parties that lasted till 4am, many scrapbook nights and lots of couch time on a Sunday after a rather big Saturday night ( am I sensing a theme? )
I am semi packed ( I have a full pack and move tomorrow, the removalist comes at 9am - lucky me ).
So what's been happening this week ?
I have been really busy at work - not so fun with only the 3 of us!
I had a lovely lunch with Sarah today, was good to catch up.

Current bookclub book, I haven't read it so better get cracking as the review is next week

P.S it has been so cold - minus 3 overnight!
It has been a long time since I did a layout all my own, without copying Pip or someone else. I was packing up yesterday and found this little box with all these labels & buttons from clothes & this is what I did with them
2 more from my kit from the "cooking" with Mardi. The idea is to make up a kit of enough cardstock, paper, lettering and embellishments to make 4 single layouts ( I adapted mine to doubles ), a great way to use up those goodies.
Not sure if I will do the fourth one ( the 3rd was the Create layout a few posts back ). I might just do another Mazza original. So pleased to have a long weekend and tomorrow off!
