Just 2 ....

little scrapbookers tonight

 

We both completed a layout - it must be those other girls that chat too much!

Not much else happening today, still hot but our AC at work is great so I try not to leave the cool during the day.

Miss Lily Jackson turned 1 today - how quickly time flies.

I am really happy tomorrow is Friday and then 2 weeks off for Mazza! Bye.

Totally glammed up ....

 

I'm thinking I should have taken notes when I got my tarot cards read as she said I would be having a re-structure at work and my job would change - guess what? Today we had a teleconference announcing a Branch re-structure. When did she say I would meet Prince Charming?

I had a really great weekend with Marg in Brisbane

 

We had the best dinner at an Italian restaurant, some shopping, went to the movies, went on a walk over the Story bridge and around the river & had a lovely picnic today for Australia Day. We also had our palms and tarot cards read at the markets. Lets just say I hope everything comes true - I will keep you posted.

No photo tonight ...

I always try to have a photo to share for my updates, but today I didn't take any! Instead I gave myself a new photo & banner - you like?

I am getting ready to go away - no packing but the important things like painting my toenails and straightening my hair!

We had so much rain today - I think over 2 inches! It was very wet. I always get so confused when people talk about how much rain we have had - ie some talk in points, or millimetres or inches - all I know is once it gets to inches that is a lot!

I got a card from Pamela my cousin today with some fabric samples to show me the colours she has picked for her wedding. I have to buy a bridesmaid dress - a little stressful but I am trying not to worry, I'm sure I will find something & if not I will get something made.

I had lunch today with Liesl, Harriett & Lucy - even though they have moved they were back visiting.

mid week de-brief ....

that is what we have at work (?) - start-ups & de-briefs - totally fascinating! So I thought I would give you a mid week de-brief on what Mazza has been up to.

Kim & I have been walking the last 2 mornings. I struggle to get up but once I am out & about I enjoy it. We had a little friend Isabella with us yesterday, she makes very cute noises while hitting the pavement. When I got home I snapped this pic -

 

Last night we had a Rugby meeting, I am getting ready for the new season as treasurer for the 2nd year.

I have also been playing around with my camera this afternoon in the rain -

 

 

My ideal job would be to be a professional photographer!

This was one of my Christmas presents - a Magazine subscription, great idea

 

I has lunch at the PO Hotel today with Milly, Treen & Mary-Kate & I did have a family photo session with one of my friends this afternoon but the rain put a stop to that. I may also have another wedding photographer gig later on in the year so excited about that ( I may reach that goal one day).

I am off to Brisbane this weekend to see my friend Marg, I am really looking forward to it.

I am making spinach & ricotta canelloni again tonight - I tend to do that, not make something for a while then I make it & remember how much I like it so I make it again! I did a good deed & took some out to Toy last weekend. I may have to take some into work to feed the boys as I can't have it too many nights in a row as left overs.

So thats it for the de-brief, tomorrow I will do it all ( well some things ) again.

After seeing Pamela's very groovy layouts, I signed up to a worksop on Kim Archers website - link to her blog on my sidebar. It is a great way to use up some of your stash and do something different. I had to scrap this photo I took of Isabella yesterday.

 

I'm having a very productive morning. I cleaned out my walk-in-wardrobe, washed & finished off these layouts. farewell for now.

Today Kim & I ( & Connor & Isabella ) went out to Toys to have lunch & a catch up. Of course I had my camera snapping away.

I was very happy when my new modem turned up today.
